Summary of the Position (Role)

As an engineer of our operations team, as a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer, you will be directly involved in the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems. You will work with senior engineers and development teams to support and enhance our CI/CD pipelines, operate our AWS cloud environment, and automate operational work. Your efforts will play a significant role in the smooth and efficient operation of our data-driven platform.

What you will do (Key Responsibilities)

• Manage and improve the performance, availability, and scalability on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Reproduce and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems with tools, such as Jenkins.
• Management of support infrastructure, such as cloud resource, servers, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and storage.
• Create and support any of the following: Bash, Python, or PowerShell automation scripts to manage standard operational processes.
• Add to our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using a tool such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Work together with development teams to make application deployments smooth and reliable.
• Standard operating procedures, troubleshooting documents, and runbooks of documents.

Who We Are Searching (Qualifications needed)

• 2-4 years of practical experience in a DevOps, Cloud Operations or similar position.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Good scripting knowledge in Bash, Python or Power Shell.
• Practical use of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes).
• A knowledge of monitoring systems such as Prometheus or CloudWatch.
• Ideally: Networking, security, performance tuning and observability stack (ELK, Grafana) experience.

Career Advice and Promotions.

This position is a good base to a further step to a Senior DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role. You will also be able to have more responsibility and drive automation, infrastructure design, and cloud strategy initiatives.
