About the Role
As a Systems Administrator II, you will contribute to maintaining and optimizing enterprise systems and infrastructure. You will ensure system reliability, implement security measures, and work with advanced technologies including cloud platforms and virtualization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned applications.
- Apply the full system development life cycle (SDLC) methodology to build and support solutions.
- Collaborate closely with business partners to gather and document project requirements.
- Keep project managers informed about development statuses and manage technical risks.
- Deliver high-quality services and communicate complex technical topics clearly.
Who Can Apply (Requirements)
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in enterprise systems administration and infrastructure/application support.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Windows Server administration and infrastructure management.
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP) and security protocols.
- Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python).
- Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow for incident and change management.
- Knowledge of backup systems, Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity.
Additional Requirements:
- Available for rotating on-call and emergency support as needed.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and documentation skills.
- Preferred: Advanced certifications (AWS, Azure, MCSE) and experience in a GxP/FDA regulated environment.
