About the Role

Being a DevOps Intern, you will be a part of the team that maintains the main infrastructure of the Ethereum network. You will collaborate intimately with core developers and senior engineers to facilitate maintenance and scaling of our distributed systems and their reliability. It is an exceptional deep-seat exploration of the realm of "blockchain DevOps" and you will be exposed to the facts of operating one of the largest decentralized systems in the world.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Fund infrastructure supporting the maintenance and scaling of core Ethereum.
• Be part of deployment automation, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with core developers to make nodes more reliable and available.
• Help in performance optimizations, load balancing, and system optimizations across the cloud system.
• Acquire invaluable practical knowledge in blockchain DevOps, distributed systems and massive cloud operation.

Who we are seeking (Ideal Skills and Qualifications)

• Good, proven enthusiasm toward blockchain technology, Ethereum, and the concept of decentralized infrastructure.
• Familiarity with the principles of DevOps as well as the key cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience in Linux management, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Good problem solving, analytical and teamwork skills.
• Active and enquiring attitude, and enthusiasm over open-source development.
