About the Role (Strategy & Business)

As a DevOps Engineer in the central team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure DevOps infrastructure on AWS and Azure. You will understand the bank’s DevOps strategy and automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Design and maintain secure infrastructure on public cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Automation: Implement automation using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Helm.
• Governance & Risk: Embed the bank's risk management framework into technology solutions and ensure compliance with security requirements (SecOps).
• Collaboration: Work with diverse engineers in sprint delivery and conduct training sessions to help application teams adopt DevOps practices.
• Observability: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.

Who We're Looking For (Skills & Experience)

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Cloud Expertise: Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer focusing on AWS or Azure.
• DevOps Toolchain: Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
• Scripting & Coding: Proficiency in scripting (Bash, PowerShell) and at least one programming language (Java, Node, or Python).
• Communication: Ability to create technical documentation and convey concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
