Cloud System Engineer Associate

About the Role

The Cloud System Engineer Associate will manage cloud operations, maintain applications, troubleshoot issues, apply configuration changes, and manage data copies. This role ensures high availability of mission-critical systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.



Responsibilities

  • Operate in a 24x5x365 support environment, ensuring system uptime and reliability.
  • Execute scheduled tasks and operational procedures following service standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve incidents, fulfill service requests, and support project delivery.
  • Assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members.
  • Manage daily operational tasks following established processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (BTech/MCA) or equivalent experience.

  • 0–2 years of experience in system administration or cloud operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux system administration (IIS/JBoss).
  • Exposure to AWS cloud computing platforms.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to document technical changes and automation efforts.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems and workflow applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Infor applications.
  • AWS Certification (Cloud Practitioner or Associate-level).
  • Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar.
  • Knowledge of IIS/Tomcat, Active Directory, databases, and OS.
  • Prior experience in customer service or client-facing technical support.
