Role Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (Cloud Native Backend) to join our Platform Engineering team. You’ll design, build, and optimize the infrastructure backbone of Lyric, ensuring our platform is reliable, scalable, and developer-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Build custom Kubernetes operators to automate infrastructure and app lifecycles
• Develop DevOps tooling to improve developer productivity and deployment reliability
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane
• Champion GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines for microservices and data workloads
• Collaborate with developers to design cloud-native, scalable backend systems
• Monitor, secure, and improve reliability of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Requirements

• 2–6 years’ experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering / Cloud Native Backend
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes internals & operator development (Go/Python preferred)
• Experience with IaC frameworks (Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane)
• Proficiency in GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux)
• Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Knowledge of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry) is a plus
