Job Description

The Senior Cloud Systems Engineer will support systems hosted in NiCE’s public and private cloud environments. The role involves working with DevOps methodologies, maintaining cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code, automating Linux/Windows environments, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and improve DevOps tools and CI/CD processes
• Design, maintain, secure, and support cloud infrastructure using Terraform and related automation
• Manage monitoring, alarming, and scaling operations
• Develop and maintain environment documentation
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
• Collaborate with development and operations teams

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
• AWS & Azure infrastructure automation using Terraform
• Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server automation (Ansible, Salt, Puppet, etc.)
• AWS services: VPC, CloudFormation, ALB, NLB, Transit Gateway
• Scripting knowledge: PowerShell or other scripting languages
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Familiarity with ITIL framework

Preferred / Advantageous

• Kubernetes cluster troubleshooting
• Administration of Ansible AWX / Red Hat Automation Platform
• Virtualization experience, especially VMware
• Working in secure, compliance-driven environments (PCI/SOX/HiTrust/ISO)
• Relevant vendor or industry certifications
