AWS Cloud Intern

dappunk is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic AWS Cloud Intern to work in our technical department. It is a specialty paid internship that allows students or new graduates to have a hands-on and practical experience with Amazon Web Services without needing to commit to a full-time position.

The job is a full remote one and needs only 2-3 hours a day, which is the best flexibility to study and work alongside your studies or other obligations. Your practical assignments will be on real world where you will be dealing with real world projects that will directly influence our business on communication and monitoring systems.

Role and Duties of the position:

As an AWS Cloud Intern, you will work in a highly important cloud infrastructure field, which is the communication systems and performance monitoring area. You will be a part and parcel of our team and assist us in making sure that our messaging is credible and our systems are fit.

The following are your important functions:

• Management AWS SES: Help with configuration, testing, and maintenance of the AWS Simple Email Service (SES) in use both in the transactional and marketing emails.
• Cloud Monitoring: AWS CloudWatch can be used to monitor application and infrastructure performance, including creating critical alarms and creating informative dashboards.
• HTML Email Development: Assist with the creation of responsive HTML email templates and debugging to make sure that they are good-looking and have high deliverability rates.
• Performance Analysis: Work with the team to examine the email deliverability rate (i.e. open rates, bounce rates) and make improvements.
• Documentation: Assist in producing clear and effective documentation of process, best practice and technical working flows.

What We Are Searching (Requirements):

• We seek a passionate student who has basic knowledge on cloud and web technologies.
• The knowledge of AWS SES and the foundations of cloud-based email systems.
• An introductory knowledge of AWS CloudWatch to monitor and alert.
• Knowledge of HTML, including email formatting and email responsiveness.
• Well developed problem-solving abilities and a sense of detail.
• An actual interest in learning, adapting fast and working in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace.
