Job Opportunity: Remote DevOps Engineer (Cloud-Native Developer).
We are a global company that requires a highly skilled and self-driven DevOps Engineer to work with our team on a full time basis and remotely in the United States. It is an ideal position to be occupied by a developer who is keen on creating advanced cloud-native applications in Python, Go, Kubernetes, and Azure.
Its data science and machine learning efforts will rely on scalable microservices, and you will be at the vanguard of creating these microservices, which will be integrated into a modern, automated environment that is secure in the cloud.

Annual Salary: $80,000 – $105,000 USD

What You Will Do (Important Responsibilities):
- Architect & Develop: Design, develop and deploy scalable microservices in Python and Go.
- Kubernetes Management: Operate the applications, scaling and operations with the Kubernetes CLI and Gitops workflow.
- Automation of CI/CD: Architect, support and optimize strong GitLab CI/CD pipelines to conduct automated builds, testing and deployment.
- Cloud Integration: Integrate with essential AWS services (e.g. S3, Lambda, SQS) and develop solutions using the Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Identity Management: Secure authentication and authorization patterns should be implemented with Azure EntraID (previously Azure AD).
- Data Manipulation: Python libraries, such as Pandas, Snowflake Snowpark, or Polars, are used to perform complex data manipulation operations.
- Teamwork: Engage in close working with DevOps, security and data science teams to implement best practices and embed machine learning models in cloud services.
What You Bring (Skills Needed):
- Advanced competency and practical development knowledge in Python and Go.
- Sound experience in working with applications using Kubernetes CLI.
- An established history of development and support of complicated GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Practical experience with cloud computing on Azure or AWS.
- Understand how to use Azure EntraID to manage identity and access.
- Strong knowledge of containerization, microservices architecture, networking and distributed systems.
- Evidence of using Python-based data manipulation (Pandas, Snowpark, Polars, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Distribution and building of Python libraries using Pip.
- Helm-based and Jinja based templating.
- Knowledge of observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana or Splunk.
- Knowledge of doing work personally with Data Science teams, and on ML model integration.
- The awareness of the Azure AI Foundry.
