 Job Description: GoodSpace is hiring a DevOps Engineer.

GoodSpace is a rapidly expanding firm that creates scalable and reliable solutions in HR Tech market, and seeks a motivated DevOps Engineer to become part of our strong engineering team in Noida.

As an engineer, this is an excellent chance, as over 1-3 years of experience, he or she may assume full responsibility of automation, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines. Your work will have a significant effect on our products and customers as it will help to make sure our systems are deployed smoothly and are reliable.

Job Summary

Position: DevOps Engineer

About the Role

You will serve as the backbone in GoodSpace software delivery process as a DevOps Engineer. Your tasks will be to maintain and optimize our cloud infrastructure, automate workflows, operate CI/CD pipelines, and maintain the high availability of our production systems. This position will involve working closely with our development, QA and product teams in order to develop a streamlined, efficient and reliable engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support effective CI/CD pipelines to enable regular and unrestrained deployments.
• Operate and control our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Automate the configuration management, provisioning, and scaling of infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• To make certain that a given system is secure, available, and performing, implement extensive logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
• Work with developers to perfect codes release processes and enhance the development cycle.
• Diagnose complicated infrastructure problems and offer stand-by services as needed.
• Pioneer and motivate the best practices in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and IaC.

Skills and Qualifications required.

• Bachelor of degree in Computer science, computer engineering or similar discipline.
• 13 years of experience working in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering position.
• Well versed with Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Practical work on containerization and orchestration technologies, namely Docker and Kubernetes.
• Sound knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud services.
• Developing a good understanding of networking basics such as firewalls and load balancers.

Good to Have Skills

• Firsthand experience of Terraform to automate infrastructure.
• Introduction to distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Technological knowledge of DevSecOps principles and security best practices.
• Writing in Python, Go or Bash.
