About the Role

As a Fresher Data Engineer, you will be an in-house part of our data team. You will be responsible primarily to assist us to develop and sustain the data infrastructure that supports our business. You will learn practically in terms of gathering data on the internet, cleaning and manipulating it and making it available to be analyzed and utilized within our applications.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):

• Data Pipelines: Data pipelines help to develop and sustain effective and secure ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations.
• Web Scraping: Conduct significant projects on web scraping and data extraction with recent tools, such as Selenium, Playwright or Scrapy.
• Data Transformation: Clean, process and transform raw data using Python and Pandas library to make usable formats.
• Teamwork and Version Control: Work well and cooperate with the team through version controls, such as Git and understand how to use containerization with Docker.
• Cloud Exposure: Have a hands-on experience with cloud services and especially about AWS so as to know how data systems work with large scale.

What We Are Seeking (Skills and Qualification):

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, information technology or any other technical degree.
• Good Python skills.
• Knowledge of web scraping and the concept of data handling.
• Familiarity with the basics of Docker, Git and basic cloud principles (AWS is desired).
• Good desire to study, pro-active mind and strong problem solving abilities.
