Simplify3x Software has an urgent opening for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Data Engineering to join their team in Bangalore. This is a hybrid role for professionals with 3–5 years of experience.

This is a unique, high-impact opportunity for a "DataOps" specialist. You will be responsible for the infrastructure that powers a complex data engineering stack, including AWS Glue, DMS, and Redshift. We are looking for immediate joiners.

About the Role

As the AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be the go-to expert for the infrastructure supporting the company's data platforms. You will bridge the gap between Data Engineering and Cloud Operations, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and automation of critical ETL and data-warehousing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain the AWS infrastructure for a large-scale data platform.
• Manage and support data-specific AWS services, including AWS Glue, AWS DMS, and Amazon Redshift.
• Administer and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
• Support and automate ETL & Data Pipelines.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, CodePipeline) for data applications.
• Manage containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Write automation scripts using Python or Bash.
• Monitor and support core AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).

Who We're Looking For (Required Skills)

• 3–5 years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role with a strong focus on data systems.
• Mandatory Data Stack Experience: Proven hands-on experience with AWS Glue, AWS DMS, and Amazon Redshift.
• Database Skills: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• DevOps Expertise: Proficiency in Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab), and Kubernetes/Docker.
• Core Skills: Deep knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, etc.) and strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• A collaborative mindset and excellent problem-solving abilities.
