Role (What You Will Learn and Do)

In your position as Cloud Engineer Intern, you will be involved in the management and optimization of multi-cloud infrastructures, which will provide you with experience in real-world projects with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Help to deploy, configure and manage intended cloud resources on AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Monitor the performance of support, system analysis, and optimization of the infrastructure.
• Learn and apply automation scripting with Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Be involved in the installation of cloud services including virtual machines, databases, and storage systems.
• Help implement security measures in the clouds, IAM, and data protection policies.
• Work together with DevOps and infrastructure teams on cloud architecture documentation.
• Supervise and track cloud resource utilization and support to cost optimization measures.

Who We're Seeking (Qualification Requirement)

Education: Pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent degree.

Core Skills:

• The fundamental knowledge on cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Knowledge of one of the cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of networking principles, operating system, and simple system administration.
• Mindset: Good attitude to problem solving, high level of curiosity and good desire to learn new technologies.

Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications)

• Cloud Certifications (much desired): AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer.
• DevOps/IaC: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation of deployment.
• Tools: Familiarity with DevOps technology, e.g. Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
