About the Role (The Gig)
As a Cloud Engineer, you will join our cloud infrastructure and DevOps team. You will be responsible for managing cloud environments, application servers, and automation workflows. This role bridges the gap between System Administration and Cloud Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- AWS Management: Configure and manage services like EC2, S3, CloudFront, ECS, VPC, and RDS.
- Web Servers: Install, configure, and maintain IIS, Apache, and Nginx servers; deploy .NET applications with SSL integration.
- System Admin: Manage and secure Windows and Linux OS environments (patching/upgrades).
- Automation: Develop scripts using PowerShell and Shell scripting.
- CI/CD: Work with pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.
- Support: Provide production support in a 24x7 environment (rotational shifts) and handle incident resolution.
Who We're Looking For (About You)
- Experience: 2-3 years in Cloud/System Administration.
- Tech Stack: Strong knowledge of AWS, PowerShell/Shell scripting, and Jenkins/Docker.
- Web Tech: Good understanding of IIS/Apache/Nginx and .NET application deployment.
- Networking: Solid grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, and SSL/TLS.
- Mindset: Strong analytical skills and a willingness to work in rotational shifts.
