What You’ll Work On

As a Cloud Engineer at Founda, you will scale and optimize infrastructure, make sure that infrastructure is secure, performant, and innovative. Their important roles are:

• Teaming up with the Infra team to come up with a hybrid on-prem and cloud Kubernetes solution.
• Providing infrastructure automation using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Improving engineering and support teams internal tooling.
• CI/CD plans and pipelines with GitLab CI/CD & Argo CD.
• installing observability using Elastic Cloud APM and monitoring using Prometheus & EFK stack.
• The benefit: Helping to support resilience, monitoring and tracing across systems around the globe.

Our Infrastructure Stack

• Core Tech: Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, Velero, Prometheus, Aikido.
• Cloud & SaaS: AWS, Elastic Cloud, GitLab CI/CD, Cloudflare, BetterUptime.
• Databases & Networking: Postgres, Redpanda, VPN.

Who You Are

We need an energetic Cloud Engineer who has:

• 2 or more years of Kubernetes production experience.
• Experience with a single significant cloud platform ( ideally AWS ).
• Good strong Infrastructure as Code (terraform) knowledge.
• CI/CD pipeline configuration (GitLab desired).
• Shell and programming (Python/Go).
• Good promotion of the principles of a cloud-native.
• open-mindedness and teamwork attitude within a global environment.
