About the Role
Shiksit is looking for a Fresher System Administrator to manage servers, cloud platforms, and automation tasks. The role includes handling installations, backups, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth daily operations for IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain server hardware and software.
- Manage backups, restore data, and handle disaster recovery.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Automate tasks using scripts and system tools.
- Work on AWS/Azure deployments and virtual machine setups.
- Support patching, updates, and infrastructure changes.
- Ensure systems comply with standards and run efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of system administration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (CloudFormation, OpsWorks, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CodeCommit) and Azure.
- Familiarity with CLI and API tools.
- Ability to design and manage AWS-based solutions.
- Understanding of cloud models (Public/Private, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
