About the Role

Your position as a DevOps Engineer at HAZERCLOUD 2 will play a significant part in the design, construction, automation, and sustainment of our cloud platform, which will mostly be built on AWS. Under our development and operations teams, you will collaborate to apply the best practices, maintain reliability and security of the system, and play a role in scaling up the large projects of the organization.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Design, implement and operate scalable, secure and highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines to automatically deploy applications.
• deploy and run Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with software such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Containers/orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
• Install effective monitoring, logging and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Scripting languages (Python, Bash). Automate operations.
• Provide implementation of security best practices and compliance requirements in the AWS environment.
• Diagnose and find solutions to infrastructure problems, root cause analysis.

Who We Are Seeking (Skills and Experience Requirements)

• Active AWS Certification (Evidence will be demanded).
• Hands-on experience working in some capacity in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering (estimate: 2-5 Years). (Please establish experience range)
• Good practical support in the fundamental AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch etc.).
• CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Experience in IaC tools (Terraform is preferred).
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and scripting (python/Bash).
• History of working with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Great teamwork and interaction abilities.
