About the Role

Being an intern at Algoleap, and as a DevOps Intern, you will be in close association with our engineering teams to learn and apply the Devops practices. You will help in controlling infrastructure, process automation and software development lifecycle support. This is a critical position that needs good analytical skills, excellent teamwork, and interest to learn new technologies.

What You Will Do and Learn (Key Responsibilities).

• Help to establish and sustain CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines.
• Know how to deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Use a code and configuration management system such as Git.
• Automate operations (e.g. Bash, Python).
• Assist in monitoring system availability, security and performance.
• Work in close collaboration with development and QA teams to resolve problems and optimize the workflows.
• Get a hands-on experience of DevOps tools and approaches.

Who We Are seeking (Requirements)

• Bachelor of degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data science or similar discipline. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Basic knowledge about the theory of DevOps or quality analysis.
• Good analytical and problem solving abilities.
• High-quality communicational and teamwork skills.
• The fundamental knowledge of Linux/Unix systems is desired.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems is preferable.
• Desire to understand cloud technologies, automation, and CI/CD tools.
