About the Role

Working as a DevOps Intern, you will be an engaged part of our engineering team and will work on real-world projects on the first day. You will help build and operate our infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), automate CI/CD pipelines and provide administration to containerized applications on Kubernetes. The position represents a one of a kind learning and application opportunity in Infrastructure as Code, system monitoring and incident response best practices.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities).

• Work with the team to build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure with the help of Terraform and GCP.
• Help to automate CI/CD pipelines and use Groovy, Jenkins, and Git to make the deployment process faster.
• Install, administer, and maintenance of containerized apps on Kubernetes (K8s) clusters.
• Monitor and optimize system performance with observability tools, such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Engage in sprint planning and help with ideas on how to make our process and tools better.

Who we are seeking (Requirements)

• An accomplished student who learns fast and is passionate about technology and innovation in solving problems.
• The fundamental knowledge of the cloud computing, the concept of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and the infrastructure.
• Active, and likes to take responsibility of duties and problems.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork behavior.
• Knowledge of any of the following technologies: GCP, Kubernetes (K8s), Terraform, Jenkins, Groovy, Git, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Desired: Python, Bash and hands-on experience in scripts, Linux systems administration, and direct experience with Kubernetes setup.
