About the Role

Our Platform Operations team requires a DevSecOps Engineer as the main administrator of our most important DevOps tools. Your duties will be to ensure they are secure, available, and performing by controlling access by users and taking up ServiceNow requests and conducting regular maintenance and upgrades. DevSecOps You will be one of the main custodians of our engineering ecosystem by ensuring that it remains in compliance with both organizational and federal security guidelines.

What You Will Do (How You Are Responsible)

• ServiceNow Ticket Management: Triage, respond to and solution daily ServiceNow requests relating to platform access, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Access Provisioning & Governance: Control access to GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nexus by users and by groups, applying the principle of least privileges and performing regular audits.
• Platform Administration: Perform maintenance, upgrade, and configuration of the DevOps toolchain, checking system health and performance.
• Security & Compliance: Implement DevSecOps to provide secure configurations, vulnerability management and internal and federal audits.

Who We Are Seeking (Qualifications We Need)

• Citizenship/Clearance: Should be in a position to have a U.S. government security clearance (Public Trust).
• Core Experience: 5 years of demonstrated practical work experience in deploying GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nexus into large entities.
• Technical Skills: Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, and Linux system and windows system administration.
• ITSM & Identity: Knowledge of ServiceNow (or any other ITSM systems) and active knowledge of the Active Directory, Group Policy, and access control models.
• Education: A Bachelor of degree in either Engineering or Computer Science or other technical subject.
• Professional Attributes: Good communication skills, very good documentation and working independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Scripting language familiarity (e.g. Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Devops foundation certification.
• Knowledge of monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
