About the Role

This is a very technical position in which you will be directly involved in helping implement and support our multi-tenant OpenStack infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters. To maintain the scalability, resilience and performance of our cloud environment, you will use the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible and Terraform. Working with platform and SRE teams, you will work to support secure and performant services to high-throughput, mission-critical applications.

What You Will Do (Important Responsibilities)

• Help with the adoption and maintenance of multi-tenant OpenStack infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
• Support the provisioning and set up of Ubuntu KVM configurations, Cisco UCS servers, and storage solutions such as Ceph.
• ANSIB and Terraform are examples of IaC tools that are used to contribute to automation work.
• Assist in continuing and developing infrastructure delivery pipelines, such as upgrades and patching.
• Observe and support observability systems such as Prometheus, Grafana and Loki.
• Be on-call and assist with incident response and post-mortem analysis as a mentee.

What We Seek (Skills and Experience Requirement)

• EX: 2+ years of experience utilizing and automating large-scale open stack cloud environments using Ubuntu KVM hypervisors and kubernetes.
• Good familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible, Terraform, or Pulumi.
• Good Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) administration with the capability to write scripts in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Good knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• Fundamental experience in hypervisors (KVM), software-defined storage (Ceph), and L2/L3 networking.
• Nice to Have: Cisco UCS blades Knowledge; telco or large enterprise infrastructure experience.
