About the Role

As an L1 AWS Cloud Support Engineer, you will be the point of contact with our customers. Your duties will include troubleshooting technologies, keeping an eye on cloud infrastructure, and maintaining the reliability and performance of the AWS environment of our clients. This job demands a high level of communication, high technical ability and a customer focus mentality.

What You Will Do (Important Responsibilities)

• Be the initial response to customer concerns passed through email, chat and phone.
• Identify and address typical problems with core AWS services, such as EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM.
• Monitor cloud environments proactively, react to system notifications, and take remedial measures to avoid system downtime.
• Report and handle incidents with enterprise level ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• The transfer of complex technical problems to L2/L3 engineering team should be documented concisely and clearly.
• Become part of our internal body of knowledge by developing and revising technical documentation.

Who We want (Skills required)

• Basic understanding of basic AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM).
• Linux and/or windows experience.
• Fundamental knowledge on the concepts of networking (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls).
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Superb problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail.
• An advantage: entry-level scripting in either Bash or PowerShell.
