About the Role (What You'll Do)

As a SRE, Junior, you will be one of the core members that will be involved in the process of making sure that our key transaction processing and settlement platforms maintain reliability, performance and observability in both on-premise and cloud-based environments. Your shifts will be used to facilitate 24x7 operations, with you being a first responder to incidents and motivating actions to improve things.

Key Responsibilities:

• Incident Management: Incident and task management, which is 24/7 on-call, is done using ServiceNow or JIRA.
• Monitoring: To achieve high availability and reliability, the wide variety of tools is encouraged such as Splunk, SolarWinds, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, or NewRelic.
• Infrastructure Support: Configure and support on-prem infrastructure ( Microsoft IIS, Apache tomcat, Active Directory ) and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Automation: Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) can be used to automate processes and enhance the reliability of systems.
• Middlewares and CI/CD Maintain middlewares (ActiveBatch, RabbitMQ, Tibco) and help in the management of CI/CD pipelines.
• Security & Compliance: Manage the use of the SSL certificates, assist with patching, and be able to audit, as it is best practice according to the ITIL.

Who We Are Searching (Qualifications)

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or area related to it.
• None to less than 3 years of infrastructure operations, system administration, or other SRE-related experience.
• Mandatory: Readiness to work in 24x7 support setting (rotations).

Skills:

• Simple scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• The knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, etc.).
• Experience with cloud systems (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• ITIL practices and incident management knowledge.
• A wish to study and in a team spirit.
