Concerning Role (Key Responsibilities)

• Your role as a DevOps Engineer will involve assisting with the end to end DevOps lifecycle, both in the implementation of the CI/CD pipeline and managing our production systems.
• Design, develop and improve CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Assist in the creation and sustenance of DevOps best practices at the team level.
• Scalability (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and reliability Managements.
• Install and maximise monitoring/alerts.
• Development and construction of highly accessible production systems.
• Automate configuration, infrastructure and deployments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network and connection problems when necessary.
• Work alongside development and operation groups to achieve smooth deployments.

Who We are seeking (Skills and Expertise required)

• One needs a very high and wide technical base to perform such a role. We are seeking individuals, who have background or profound experience in the following areas:
• Cloud Platforms: Good understanding of either Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Configuration Management: Practical work with such tools as Ansible.
• Containers / Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes (cluster management and administration) expertise.
• Enterprise Systems: Knowledge of WebLogic server administration and cluster maintenance.
• CI/CD & SCM: Good knowledge of Bitbucket, JIRA, and Jenkins (including Groovy declarative pipelines).
• Artifact Management: Experience in JFrog Artifactory or Nexus.
• Systems / Scripting: Good Linux/Unix system administration and Shell scripting experience.
• Observation: Firm knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, or AppDynamics.
• Logging: Familiarity with either Splunk or ElasticSearch.
• Networking: Good knowledge of load balancers and firewalls and can debug connection problems (e.g. debugging TCP dumps).

Soft Skills

• Good analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Good communication and working skills.
• Active attitude and high concentration.
• Interest in knowledge and the possibility of becoming a teacher.
