About the Role (What You'll Do)

You will be employed as a Junior AWS Engineer and will be under the supervision of senior engineers to maintain our cloud infrastructure. It is a practical job where you are an earner because you will be learning on the job working on vital infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help with capacity planning and configuring core AWS cloud services, such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC and Lambda.
• Assist in the migration of on-premises workloads to the AWS cloud.
• Monitor and maintain the cloud with AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring systems.
• Assist in security best practices, such as IAM policy and role-based access management.
• CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) with the help of AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Work with development and operations teams to provide effective and high-quality cloud solutions.
• Setting up of document systems, operational guidelines and troubleshooting measures.
• Under supervision, take part in on-call rotations and respond to cloud-related incidences.

Who We are seeking (Qualifications required)

• One must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar area (or equal experience).
• The simplest idea of cloud computing and networking concepts.
• Understanding of basic assets of AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, VPC).
• Introduction to scripting languages like Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Version control knowledge in Git.
• Good ability to solve problems, analytical, and teamwork.

• Favorite Qualifications (What Makes You Special)
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect -Associate certification (in progress or completed) is a very big added bonus.
• Practical experience, either via internship, coursework, or personal project relating to AWS.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
• Simple knowledge in Linux/Windows system administration.
