Within the Cloud Engineering team you will monitor cloud services, fix issues, and perform scheduled processes to ensure systems are operating as intended.  

Key Responsibilities  

- Monitor cloud dashboards and alerts, and indicate pressing problems.  

- Solve minor issues, communicate with other teams or customers as necessary.  

- Achieve service level agreements and document up what you have done.  

- Manage the open cases and provide status reports to stakeholders.  

- Do not leave the 24/7/365 cloud environment out of service.  

- Conduct manual tasks in time and on schedule.  

Qualifications  

- A bachelors degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a similar field.  

- One year of working experience will be an added advantage.  

- Familiarity with windows, Linux, Web services, networks, databases, and cloud applications like AWS, Azure, or GCP.  

- Fundamental knowledge of monitoring: infrastructure, system, and application health, availability, and latency and performance.  

- Python, HTML, SQL, REST API calls and PowerShell experience.  

- Knowledge on ITIL processes, Incorporation, Problem, Change, Knowledge and Event Management.  

- An entry level cloud, network, or security certification (Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, CompTIA, etc.) is an added plus.
