Job Summary  

We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented System Engineer. It concerns the design, construction and upkeep of IT infrastructure and systems. The position assures reliability, security and performance of servers, networks and applications. It is also preoccupied with automation and technical assistance.

Key Responsibilities  :

- Architect, configure, and maintain servers, disk systems and network systems.  

- Install and update windows and linux operating systems and business software in operation.  

- Monitor performance, availability, and capacity to ensure that everything is running.  

- Supervise security, backup and disaster recovery.  

- Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking.  

- Automate through PowerShell, Bash or Python.  

- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and developers in order to ensure smooth integrations.  

- Archive system settings, procedures and updates.  

- Migration, upgrading, and AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud deployment assistance.  

- Adhere to IT rules and practices.

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Computer science, IT or related course.  

- Experience as a System Engineer, System Administrator or other.  

- Windows Server and Linux distribution knowledge.  

- Hands-on experience of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services.  

- Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.  

- Script writing and automation tools knowledge.  

- Familiarity with surveillance and recording software.  

- understanding of security, backups and disaster recovery.  

- Certifications like MCSA, MCSE, RHCE, CompTIA Server+, AWS, or Azure are an advantage.
