EVOTEK is North America’s premier digital business enabler, known for its award-winning culture and innovation-driven environment. We are seeking a Remote DevSecOps Engineer (AWS) to design, build, and secure modern cloud-native solutions.
Role Overview
This role involves designing & developing solutions for complex application and integration challenges, collaborating with teams across operations, development, and QA. You will build and automate CI/CD pipelines, deploy infrastructure with IaC, and ensure security best practices in a multi-cloud, multi-platform environment.
Responsibilities
- Deploy cloud platforms in AWS & Azure.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Build & document CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Container deployments with Docker & Kubernetes.
- Automate builds & deployments across environments.
- Collaborate with Ops, Dev, and QA teams to solve DevOps & security challenges.
- Apply security best practices (OWASP, STRIDE, CIS).
- Manage version control (Git, SVN) & CI systems (Jenkins, Hudson).
- Work with Terraform, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack for automation.
- Ensure security triage & compliance in deployments.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science (or equivalent).
- Strong DevOps + Security background (DevSecOps mindset).
- 5+ years experience in cloud-native environments (AWS required).
- Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Scripting/coding (Python preferred).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum & structured change management.
- Familiarity with multi-platform (Linux/Windows) deployments.
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving & innovation mindset.
