About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer Intern, you will be an active contributor to our engineering team from day one. You will be responsible for assisting with the automation, management, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure. You will work with a cutting-edge toolset and be involved in CI/CD pipeline automation, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and supporting Kubernetes environments.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Manage and operate Kubernetes and Docker environments (GKE/AKS experience is a plus).
• Automate the CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, or Azure Pipelines.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Use configuration management tools like Ansible, Helm, or Argo CD.
• Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix.
• Assist with database administration tasks (Postgres, MS SQL).
• Support infrastructure updates, including OS patching and Kubernetes upgrades.
• Collaborate with the team in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Who We're Looking For (Required Skills & Qualifications)

• Education: B.Tech or MCA in CS/IS or a related field.
• Mandatory Experience:
• Completed comprehensive training on DevOps with GCP or AWS.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
• Proven, hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker is mandatory.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline automation.
• A working understanding of scripting languages (Bash, Perl, or Python).

• Core Competencies:
• Experience with IaC (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Solid understanding of networking, SSL, TLS, and HTTP.

• Valued Skills:

• Database administration knowledge.
• Experience with SOC 2 compliance evidence.
• Knowledge of service mesh tools like Istio.
