About the Role
As the DevOps Technical Support Engineer, you will receive the technical question as the first line of contact on technical inquiries about our international projects. Your tasks will include the complexity of analyzing logs and metrics of various origin and resolving complex issues. This position will involve working with the DevOps, development, and operations teams to find the root cause, properly handle the incident, and ensure a high degree of system reliability.
What You Are Going to Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Deliver technical assistance and fix problems with cloud platforms and services such as AWS Fargate, ECS, DynamoDB, and BigQuery.
- Interpret logs and metrics of the sources such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Splunk to comprehend and fix issues.
- Solve complicated network problems that include load balancers, API gateways, reverse proxies, and ingress controllers.
- Work hand in hand with DevOps teams to administer and problem-solve toolchains such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
- Troubleshooting, document troubleshooting steps, and solutions, having an entire knowledge base.
- Work in 24/7 shifts geared towards rotations, and handovers with up-to-date information on current problem reports.
Required Technical Skills
- Cloud Platforms: Practical experience with AWS services ( Fargate, ECS, DynamoDB, SNS ) and experience with GCP (BigQuery).
- Monitoring & Logging: Experience with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Splunk, and Alert Manager.
- Networking & Security: Good knowledge of load balancers (ALB/NLB), API Gateways (AWS/NGINX), ingress controllers (NGINX/Traefik), firewalls, and IAM.
- DevOps Toolchains: Knowledge of Docker, familiarity with Kubernetes concepts and familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
- Professional Skills: Good problem-solving skills, effective communicational skills, and the knowledge of collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Slack.
