About the Role

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you are a technical leader who will be in charge of the design, implementation, and maintenance of our scalable cloud solutions. The main task you will be engaged in is the automation of Cloud Landing Zones. You will have to work with cross-functional teams, combine the best practices in development and automation, and take part in the architecture of cloud applications that are serverless, Kubernetes-based, and event-driven.

What you will do (Key Responsibilities)

• Bring to fruition cloud infrastructure automation on AWS and Azure.
• Design, implement and support scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions.
• Development teams of guides and mentors, with experiences in the practices of DevOps and automation.
• Design and support CI/CD pipelines to facilitate deployments, based on GitOps principles (Flux, ArgoCD).
• Secure authentication and authorization, design and implement best practices in security.
• Track and optimization of performance, scalability and reliability of cloud applications.
• Encourage the culture of continual improvement through sharing the knowledge and reviewing the team.

What We Seek (Skills and Requirement)

• Experience as Senior Cloud Engineer or equivalent with a heavy emphasis on AWS (Azure will be an added benefit).
• Good experience in software development and DevOps practices.
• Awsmastery in AWS/Azure infrastructure automation.
• Skills in programming language, e.g. Python, Golang or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with serverless systems, Kubernetes and event-driven designs.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
• Comprehension of best practices and protocols of cloud security (RBAC, JWT, SAML, OIDC).
• Desirable: Exposure to and management of development teams, software architecture knowledge, and No-SQL databases such as DynamoDB.
