Job Title: Associate Site Reliability Engineer- Intern.

Duration: 6 Months Internship

Topics of the Role (What You’ll Learn and Do)

• In a team of SRE Interns, you will be guided by senior engineers and will undergo a real-world problem solving and performance tuning and system reliability experience. You are not going to watch only, but to do.
• Engage directly with both the customer and internal teams to investigate cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Prometheus, Service Mesh, and Rook-Ceph.
• Understand how to create, run and sustain scalable and reliable distributed systems.
• How to design and automate infrastructure with contemporary DevOps and SRE.
• Learn about open-source and become familiar with their functions and use the appropriate tools to address problematic cases.
• Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of systems to make them reliable and performant.
• Make contributions to internal documentation and disseminate what you have learned to others within the team.

What We Are looking (Qualification)

• Education: Mint fresh or young professionals (0–2 years) of Computer Science, IT or other related fields.
• Core Skills: The ability to do at least some programming/scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and good knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Mindset: Extremely interested in DevOps, automation, cloud computing, and open-source technologies.
• Aptitude: Effective problem solving ability and strong desire to learn in a rapid setting.

What Will set you apart (Preferred Skills)

• Practical knowledge or theoretical introduction to Kubernetes (GKE, RKE, etc.).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines deployed to Kubernetes.
• Acquaintance with distributed storage such as Rook-Ceph.
• Principles of monitoring and observability metrics (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of cloud environments public knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security.
