About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer at TRC, you will be the architect of our software delivery process. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, and various testing and deployment tools. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to enable continuous integration and delivery, ensuring our software quality remains high while reducing manual effort through automation.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD Management: Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (creating pipelines, scripting, and maintenance).
- Artifact Management: Optimize build automation and manage repositories using JFrog Artifactory or Nexus.
- Test Integration: Integrate automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, Postman, SonarQube) directly into pipelines to ensure quality gates.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Cloud & Containers: Manage environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP and work with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Automation: Write scripts (Bash, Python, Groovy) to automate repetitive operational tasks and improve productivity.
- Monitoring: Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for high system reliability.
Who We're Looking For (Qualifications)
- Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins is a must.
- Proven experience with Artifact management tools (Artifactory/Nexus).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts, branching strategies, and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with Git source code management (GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab).
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, Python, Groovy, or PowerShell.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
