About the Role (What You Will Do)

You will work closely with system administrators and developers to ensure smooth integration between software development and IT operations. You will be hands-on with Linux/Windows servers, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and automating repetitive tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage, and networking in on-premise environments.
• CI/CD Automation: Support and automate build/release processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Ansible.
• System Administration: Monitor and maintain Linux and Windows servers, ensuring high availability.
• Scripting: Implement infrastructure automation scripts using Shell, Bash, or Python.
• Monitoring: Assist in system monitoring and log management using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or ELK Stack.
• Backup & Security: Participate in backup recovery procedures and security hardening.

Who We're Looking For (Required Skills)

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• OS Skills: Strong understanding of Linux / Unix administration and basic Windows server management.
• Networking: Familiarity with IP addressing, DNS, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
• DevOps Tools: Knowledge of pipelines and automation (Jenkins, Git, Ansible).
• Coding: Basic scripting knowledge in Shell, Bash, or Python.
• Mindset: Strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for automating repetitive tasks.

Good to Have (Bonus Points):

• Exposure to virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
• Database administration basics (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Academic projects related to System Admin or DevOps.
